Understanding the word "BOWELS OF MERCIES"

 

The word ‘Bowl’ means a round deep dish or container used to hold food or fruits or any liquid. As in verbs, ‘bowl’ can be used to mean throwing a ball in a correct manner in a cricket match or as in noun, it can be used in a sentence like, ‘The bowl was perfect and clean’.

The Phrase, “Bowels of mercies…….” In Colossians 3:12 was mistakenly interpreted as “Bowls of mercies…….”

“Bowl” and “Bowel”- are the two different words which look alike with a slight or minimal difference in sound and spelling but with quite two  different meanings. I was mistaken with the word ‘Bowel’ which I took for ‘Bowl’.

Fruits rich in nutrients are essential for our growth  of health or providing a wide range of health boosting with antioxidants and flavonoids, vitamins and minerals. Thus, ‘a bowl of fruit’ or ‘a bowl of (spiritual) fruits’ in a figurative language can mean a lot, and it can produce a bunch of ideas. I have come across some phrases or idioms such as, ‘a fresh cup of Grace and a bowl of Mercy’, ‘Bowl for Mercy’, ‘Mercy Bowl’ etc. “Mercy Bowl’ is a name of an event organized to strike up a new awareness and raise charitable funds to support St. Louis Mercy Home and girls. But the interesting fact is that the phrase as ‘Bowls of Mercies…..’ cannot be found in any modern Dictionary nor in the internet.   Continue here

Lesson one : Have you considered or asked your self why you Should Blog?

Why would anyone want to blog? There are plenty of reasons why you should . And it’s still a great time to get started if you want to. Check out this list and see some of the reasons why.

1. It’s fun and rewarding financialy

Blogging is fun. I get to write about things I enjoy and I meet people online who share similar interests.

I spent most of my career sitting behind a computer. At one of my jobs we worked in a room with no windows that we called the cave. Don’t get me wrong – I love being behind a computer. But there isn’t much social interaction.

When I decided in 2015 I was going to flip my life on its head and do exactly the opposite of everything I’ve ever done:
• help people with their problems
• go to conferences and meet people
• talk to people (you don’t do that much as a programmer)

my entire outlook on life changed. I get to help people with their finances. I’m making a difference.

2. You’ll make new friends

I have made so many new friends I wouldn’t have met otherwise. It’s amazing! Relationships might start out as comments on a post, replying to a Tweet, or an email.
My virtual friends end up becoming people I hang out with who live close by, or people I see at conferences. I have a whole bunch of new people I’ve met that I consider friends.
Often you might feel alone –
Am I the only person out there that likes Tonkinese cats?
But if you start blogging about Tonkinese cats, suddenly other Tonkinese cat lovers find you. And because of your common interest, you quickly form a common bond.
Blogging is a great way to meet like-minded people that share your hobbies, beliefs, values, and goals.

3. You’ll learn new things

I am a life-long learner. When I lived in Atlanta, I would visit the library once a week, check out the new releases, and pick up any book that looked interesting.

McGregor Mayweather: Fight is a JOKE and should NOT count as Floyd Mayweather’s 50-0

FLOYD MAYWEATHER will, in all likelihood, log his 50th professional win by beating Conor McGregor on Saturday, achieving something many thought he never would.

When Mayweather retired for the second time after beating Andre Berto in an unspectacular but dominant win over the fellow American, it looked as though he would never achieve that 50-0 landmark.

The talented cast includes Kate McKinnon as wacky Aussie buddy Pippa but like most of them she struggles to raise many laughs from a screenplay that often feels as lifeless as that hapless stripper.

Samsung heir Lee Jae-yong jailed for corruption

The de facto boss of the world’s largest smartphone maker is convicted of bribery in South Korea.

A court in South Korea has sentenced Samsung’s billionaire heir-apparent Lee Jae-yong to five years in prison for corruption.

Mr Lee was convicted of bribery in a scandal that also saw the impeachment of South Korea’s former president.

The case has gripped the public amid growing anger against South Korea’s biggest companies, known as chaebols.

Mr Lee, who denied all charges, had faced a jail sentence of up to 12 years.

Also known as Jay Y Lee, the de facto head of the world’s largest smartphone maker had been detained since February on a string of corruption charges.

These included bribery, embezzlement and hiding assets overseas.

Online Advertising Technique #1 – Review And Compare

This is the most common strategy used by many online advertisers.

The idea is to pick 2-3 similar products and compare their pros and cons.

You probably have seen such online advertisements before.

There are two approaches to deploy the Review And Compare strategy. One works better than the other.

1) “Independent Review” approach

In this approach, you simply provide an independent review of the 2-3 products that you’re comparing. Many online advertisers will give some star-ratings to the products and ‘purposely’ award more stars to the product that they support.

This morning i got up excited cos its a new day with great upportunities to make some few cash  online.  So i said to my self, thinking aloud,

Oooohhh just 5:00 am my bro said ,sure it is 5 ;00 am, Saturday morning , with a calm environment to be productive again.

My bro asked me this question, 

“Can Blogging Create A Full-time Income?”

To answer this question, first of all,  i need to explain what i  understand  blogging to be.

To me, blogging is just another traffic strategy, something like article marketing.

Assuming you have not done anything to your blog, no link, no promotion, no JV, a blog post is just another piece of content lying somewhere on the net. If you’re lucky, someone may find the post through the search engine and read it. If not, it will just be another digital dust.

When the gurus tell you that you can make money from blogging, what he is really saying is you can make money by leaving tons of ‘content footprint’ on the net. The more ‘content footprint’ you have on the net, the more traffic you are likely to attract.

(Sidenote: That’s the reason why I started Naijhahotzone Blog /article page– to create a large content footprint so as to attract more traffic and benefit our members who show their ads in this blog and other parts of the entire community.)

As I’ve said, blogging is just another traffic strategy. It’s what you do with the traffic that determines whether you can create a fulltime income from it.

So can blogging create fulltime income? My ‘immediate’ answer is – it depends on what you do with the traffic to your blog.

Boko Haram threatens to capture President in new video

The group made the threat via a new video posted on YouTube on Tuesday, September 13, 2016.

The video shows a group of terrorists observing prayers in commemoration of the recently concluded Eid-el-Kabir festival.

“This is our eid prayer from us and by the support of our leader Imam Abubakar Al-Shekau. We are extending our greetings to our people and fighters,” the terrorists said according to Premium Times.

Good neighbors should look out for each other. Get to know your neighbors on each side of your home and the three directly across the street. Invite them into your home, communicate often, and establish trust. Good neighbors will watch out for your home or apartment when you are away, if you ask them. They can report suspicious activity to the police or to you while you are away. Between them, good neighbors can see to it that normal services continue in your absence by allowing vendors to mow your lawn or remove snow. Good neighbors can pick up your mail, newspapers, handbills, and can inspect the outside or inside of your home periodically to see that all is well. Good neighbors will occasionally park in your driveway to give the appearance of occupancy while you are on vacation.

Allowing a neighbor to have a key solves the problem of hiding a key outside the door. Experienced burglars know to look for hidden keys in planter boxes, under doormats, and above the ledge. Requiring a service vendor to see your neighbor to retrieve and return your house key will send the message that someone is watching. This neighborhood watch technique sets up what is called territoriality which means that your neighbors will take ownership and responsibility for what occurs in your mini-neighborhood. This concept works in both single family homes communities and on apartment properties. This practice helps deter burglaries and other crimes in a big way. Of course for this to work, you must reciprocate and offer the same services.

Boko Haram ambushes United Nations officials, soldiers in Borno

Officials of the United Nations were among those injured on Thursday in northeast Nigeria as Boko Haram terrorists ambushed their vehicles as they from Bama where they had gone to offer relief services to displaced persons, officials said.

The convoy was attacked despite being escorted by armed soldiers.

The attacks on the UN officials and soldiers came four days after personnels of Medicins Sans Frontier narrowly escaped being killed by landmines some few kilometres from where Thursday’s ambush attack was carried out.

The landmine incident occurred on Sunday but was never reported in the media because neither the military nor the MSF officials talked about it.

The spokesman of the Nigeria Army, Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, confirmed Thursday’s incident via a statement emailed to journalists on Thursday......................
